Energetika-VDS
Energetika-VDS provides PCB assembly, SMT assembly, embedded software, and electronics component sourcing on an in-house SMT PCB production line. AOI runs in-house on every board. Through-hole, firmware loading, sourced functional test coordination, and box-build available when required.
Founder
Energetika-VDS started in 1992 in Strumica, North Macedonia. Vasko Stamboliev founded it and still designs the products himself, the firmware and the board. For more than thirty years we have built our own electronics here: electricity meters, LED lighting, temperature regulators, and data loggers. When your boards reach our SMT line, the people running it have shipped hardware of their own and know where a design tends to fail before it gets to production.
What we do
Energetika-VDS provides PCB assembly, SMT assembly, embedded software, and electronics component sourcing. The line handles surface-mount, through-hole, AOI on every board, firmware loading, and box-build on the same job when the design calls for it. Functional test is sourced through partner test houses when the customer test plan requires it.
Most of our work is low to medium volume runs for industrial, IoT, energy, access control, HVAC, and building automation hardware. Batches that need traceability and per-unit identity, not mass-volume consumer runs.
Equipment
Our SMT line:
- DDM Novastar SPR-45 (Gold Print), Solder paste stencil printer
- DDM Novastar LS60 (Gold Place), Pick-and-place machine
- DDM Novastar GF-120HT (Gold Flow), Reflow soldering oven
AOI runs in-house on every board on this line. Firmware flashing and box-build run alongside the SMT line as part of the same production sequence. Functional test, when the test plan requires it, is coordinated through partner test houses.
How we work
We accept your design, your AVL, your test plan, and your signing keys, and we run them through a production line built for repeatable, traceable output. Every unit ships with a firmware version we can name, an AOI inspection record we can show, and a serial that follows it for the rest of its life. When your test plan calls for functional test, we coordinate it through a partner test house and log the result against the same serial.
Our SMT line runs the full product lifecycle on one set of equipment: NPI prototypes, pilot batches, and recurring production. Single-shift capacity is approximately 4.8 million component placements per year (about 80 000 simple boards, 40 000 mid-complexity boards, or 12 000 meter-class boards per year), and scales linearly across a second and third shift. We are a high-mix manufacturer: changeover discipline is what lets us run a 500-unit batch and a 50 000-unit annual programme through the same line.
