Overview

ST is the external-probe sibling of the DT regulator. Same RTC and ten-register programmable schedule, with a wide -40 to +125 °C probe range for ovens, boilers, refrigeration coils, and process tanks. Two-line LCD shows probe temperature alongside the active set-point. 10 A or 20 A relay variants share one board.

How it is used

Ovens, boilers, refrigeration coils, industrial process tanks, and any application where the controlled medium is at a temperature far outside the regulator enclosure. ST extends the programmable schedule logic of the DT to a -40 to +125 °C external probe.

How we build it

Single-board external-probe regulator built on our DDM Novastar line. Same line and process as the DT variant. The external probe is wired through a screw terminal on the PCB; probe harness is paired and shipped as a kit with the unit.

Assembled on our in-house Novastar SMT line: SPR-45, LS60, GF-120HT.

Optical inspection and test

AOI inspects placement, RTC crystal alignment, LCD seating, relay polarity, and probe connector. Functional check at the line: probe linearity across -40 / 25 / +125 °C against a reference thermometer, relay switch at set-point, RTC drift, backup-retention behaviour.
