Smart-grid head-end software (SuperNet)
Windows desktop head-end that organises the electronic-meter fleet into a county / area / customer hierarchy, runs commands per meter or per group, and schedules recurring tasks via DLC modem or optical head.
What it is
SuperNet is the head-end console we built for the M96 / T96 electronic-meter family. From one workstation an operator manages a county / area / customer hierarchy, talks to meters over a DLC modem (COM3, 9600,n,8,1) or directly via an optical head (COM3, 300,n,8,1), and runs meter commands either interactively or under the scheduled task engine. Each meter is identified by the serial number on the unit. Five access levels with administrator at the top. Bundled with the K-10 Analyzer (Visionary Design System) for load-profile retrieval and charting.
What we built
- Hierarchical database with Add New County / Area / Customer dialogs
- Tree-view and List-view of the fleet with map overlay (Macedonia counties)
- Meter commands: ON/OFF per phase or all, Status (15 records per tariff × 4 tariffs), Voltage & Current (15 records of Ir/Is/It + Ur/Us/Ut), Real-Time (RTC), Tariff Settings (T1-T4 + weekend)
- Optic Connection tabs: COM port settings, Meter Status, Get Consumption Status, Meter Info, Memory Review, Tariff Settings, Per-phase overcurrent limit
- Task scheduler with start date / time / recurrence (e.g. every 10 minutes)
- Status log: port open/close, command issue, command response, unrecognised-response tracking
