Analyzer K-10 Three Phase Field Power Analyzer

Portable three-phase power analyser with current clamps (1000/5/1 A scaling), 24-hour autonomous logging, and VDS32 Visionary Design System PC software.

Overview

Analyzer K-10 is our field instrument for transformer-substation and distribution-site surveys. Three-phase voltage and clamp-CT current capture every minute for 24 hours, autonomous on a 12 V / 270 mAh internal pack so a grid trip does not stop the log. Data offloads over RS-232 to a Windows desktop running VDS32, which produces tabular reports and daily voltage / current / power / energy diagrams. We build the analyser and the clamp set on the same line, including instrument calibration against a three-phase reference source.

Key features

  • Three-phase current and voltage capture without line outage
  • Clamp-CT options for 1000 A, 5 A, and 1 A primary
  • Active / reactive / apparent power and energy per phase
  • Internal backup keeps recording through grid outage
  • Daily diagram and table view in VDS32 with .vds archive (e.g. R190599.vds)

How it is used

Transformer substations at 20(10)/0.04 kV, distribution sites, and industrial drops where energy quality and load behaviour must be surveyed without dropping the line. Internal backup keeps the instrument logging through a grid trip, which matters for surveys where the trip itself is the data of interest.

How we build it

Instrument PCB built on our DDM Novastar line. Hardware: signal-conditioning analog front-end, 10-bit A/D, microcontroller, RTC, RS-232 driver, 12 V / 270 mAh backup. Clamp-CT sets assembled and calibrated as a paired kit with the instrument. VDS32 PC software built and bundled separately.

Assembled on our in-house Novastar SMT line: SPR-45, LS60, GF-120HT.

Optical inspection and test

Each instrument calibrated against a three-phase reference source at known voltage / current / cos φ before shipping. Calibration report archived against the unit serial number.
